Compact and Energy Saving Step Type Mechanical Bar Screen Quiet Operation for Small Pump Stations

Chain-type mechanical grilles operate by using chains to drive grille bars or rake teeth to move circularly. As the chains rotate, the rake teeth scrape off intercepted impurities from the grille surface and convey them to the discharge port, suitable for medium and large sewage treatment plants with high impurity content.

This equipment is of drum spiral type. The round screening drum is used as the screen surface and it is installed in the canal by 35° with horizontal plane. When the sewage flows into the screening drum from the screen end, the dregs larger than the screen gap are intercepted and settled on the inner surface of screening drum. The rotation of whole screening drum is driven by motor. The screening removal brush on the top of screening drum cleans off the screening surface with flushing mechanism. The screening is flushed into the central material groove and lifted up by conveying screw rod. The screening drops off in the material box or conveyor for transportation out for further discharging port after squeezing and dewatering.
